So this is something that’s been on my mind for a while now and it’s been bothering me so much.

I hate what social media has done to small business owners.

It’s so incredibly toxic more often than not, leading to horrific comparison spirals.

You either see people posting about getting too many sales or begging for them.

Then the algorithm changes and the “engagement” drops.

This is in no way the fault of the biz owners. It’s on Big Tech. Biz owners are just trying to stay afloat in these incredibly hard times.

I feel really really icky about this. Bc biz owners feel the need to give into the manipulative techniques of these companies in order to get sales. It also makes me v sad.
